The photo you see to the left is me, hosting and thriving at our 2024 TradieWives in-person event—a moment that still feels surreal. Flashback to six years ago, I could never have imagined this day.
Back then, I made the leap from my corporate career to help my husband, Craig, with his landscaping business. What I thought would be a simple transition left me feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and frustrated.
In a moment of inspiration (or desperation), I started a Facebook group, thinking maybe one or two people would join. To my surprise, that small idea ‘a shower thought’, has grown into a thriving community of almost 30,000 incredible women in the trade industry. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built together.
What I’ve learned on this journey is that running a successful business isn’t just about profits—it’s about finding your people, building connections, and creating a sustainable work-life balance. Over the years I have spent countless hours facilitating the community and observed the common recurring issues that all of us encounter as TradieWives – cashflow and mental health.
That’s exactly why the team and I have been busy creating TradieWives Business Plus. It’s more than just a program, it equips you with exactly what you need to tackle the behind-the-scenes of your business and keep you on track to smash your 2025 business goals.
Verity has been working in the trade industry with her husband Craig for over six years as well as facilitating the TradieWives Community. V has seen all sorts of situations and helped thousands of TradieWives get through tough times. With her extensive knowledge and insight, she’s the go-to person for guidance and a trusted sounding board for those seeking the right direction in their business.

Clare Wood is a money mentor, author, speaker and podcaster. Clare is also a gym junkie, a drinker of wine, a passionate traveller, a wrangler of 2 young boys, a manifestor, a numbers nerd and a reality TV addict. She’s a qualified accountant (a CPA), using her money-making mentoring powers for good helping service-based businesses to scale, while also creating a lifestyle they love. Clare is looking forward to helping our TradieWives face one of the biggest pain points in the community – managing cashflow.
HOSTING
As a TW (builder husband) and a relationship therapist, Tracy often feels deep empathy reading about the challenges that the fellow TWs face with their loves—partners, kiddos, and more. Tracy is a PACFA-accredited psychotherapist and has worked with hundreds of couples, she believes we all deserve the relationships we dream of.
